Instantly recognisable by its distinctive rounded shape, its clean silhouette is further accentuated by precise detailing on the doors.

With a generous 2.70m wheelbase, the DOLPHIN offers ample space for both the driver and passengers. Additionally, the standard 16-inch alloy wheels can be upgraded to 17-inch wheels, allowing for a sportier appearance.

SAFETY

DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS

The BYD DOLPHIN sets a new benchmark for safety in electric cars, offering a comprehensive range of advanced driver assistance features as standard. Recognised as one of the safest options on the market, every version of the BYD DOLPHIN is equipped with a full suite of safety technologies, including a 360-degree camera, Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Lane Keeping Assistance (LKA), and Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC).

Further enhancing its safety credentials, the BYD DOLPHIN also includes Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) and Rear Cross Traffic Brake (RTCB) as standard. Using millimetre-wave radar, these systems actively detect approaching vehicles during reverse manoeuvres. If a potential collision is detected, the car will alert the driver and automatically apply the brakes, reinforcing its commitment to safety.

Built on the advanced BYD e-Platform 3.0, designed specifically for pure electric vehicles, the BYD DOLPHIN offers significant benefits in intelligence, efficiency, safety, and aesthetics. The e-Platform 3.0 enhances the DOLPHIN’s visual appeal, featuring compact front and rear overhangs and a longer wheelbase. This design not only boosts the car's overall look but also creates a more spacious rear passenger compartment, with a flat floor that ensures ample comfort and space for passengers in the middle seat.

HIGH PERFORMANCE BATTERY

BYD BLADE BATTERY

The groundbreaking Blade Battery, a key feature of the BYD DOLPHIN, has been transforming safety, durability, and performance in the electric vehicle (EV) industry for over 28 years. Made from lithium iron phosphate (LFP), a safe and sustainable material that eliminates the need for natural resources like nickel and cobalt, the battery offers exceptional advantages. The BYD DOLPHIN is equipped with a 60 kWh LFP Blade Battery, providing an impressive range of up to 427 km on a single charge.

The BYD DOLPHIN supports 11 kW AC charging, allowing for a full recharge in about 8 hours from empty. Additionally, it features 100 kW DC fast charging, enabling the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in just 29 minutes.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

HIGH-EFFICIENCY HEAT PUMP SYSTEM

The BYD DOLPHIN comes standard with an advanced heat pump system, boosting the car's energy efficiency and overall range. This innovative system captures residual heat from the powertrain, passenger compartment, and batteries, using it for both heating and cooling.

Engineered for optimal performance in various temperatures, the heat pump system ensures the BYD DOLPHIN remains comfortable in all weather conditions.
